Always Look On The Bright Side of Life

To say it's been one of those days, is a slight exaggeration. For the last week, I've worked hard to finish some card samples to meet the deadline of tomorrow. And last night, I finally finished them and relaxed, knowing they were all done and ready to go.

Well, that was before disaster struck in the form of my Mum and a cup of coffee. Yup, I'll let you all piece the rest together but needless to say...I've spent all day trying to sort out the mess!

Anyway, as my Nan always said...there's worse things that happen at sea and it couldn't be helped!! These things happen, but I won't be letting my Mum anywhere near the samples from now on!

So, before I go back to work...I thought I would share these little treats with you.
I made these for my Christmas Eve table and will be filling them with little presents for everyone. I'm so pleased with how they turned out, they'll be absolutely perfect for my decorative needs!

So, I hope you're all having a good week so far and that everyone is keeping warm and cosy!
Thanks for stopping by to take a look at my lil creations!

  2. HAHA...I love the title of the post! it reminds me of one of my favourite Python movies, The Life of Brain! ;p and hopefully the little "incident" can get sorted and knowing how talented you are I KNOW it will! :D

as for these little beauties, they SO CUTE! but what a dilemma when it comes to opening them! I normally tear into gifts but I'd be VERY HESITANT to tear into something so CUTE! ;p

    LOVE THEM...well done! :D

  3. Oh Emma! I know just what that feels like; my husband had a similar accident with a cup of coffee and some cards I'd made for a magazine commission. I cried for hours!! hope you managed to sort them out. I just love your table decorations - beautiful!!
