Santa's Lil Helper

Happy Friday everyone!!

It's the end of another busy week and even though I've been playing with lots of Halloween goodies, you can't forget that Christmas is just around the corner. Where did the year go? Have you started your Christmas cards?

Even though, I've been busy beavering away making all these cards to share with all of you, my own cards for friends and family, are something I haven't even begun to think about...what colour theme shall I do? Traditional or contemporary? Arghhh...at this rate, I'll be making them Christmas Eve!

Anyway, I might not have a clue what I'm doing yet but I do know that I loved working with this fabulous set of acrylic stamps from Kanban. I just adore the style of the reindeer, it's such a fabulous image.
Once again, I've made the card in the style quite distressed looking and used plenty of products from Tim Holtz to achieve it. I die cut some beautiful papers, using the Poinsettia die from Spellbinders and made these handmade flowers that I attached down the side of the card, together with die cut snowflakes. The reindeer was stamped using a Briliance ink pad in Lightening Black onto textured cardstock, which I then distressed around the edges and used the Wild Honey Distress Ink to add some colour.

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend and thank you for stopping by to take a look at my little creation. Your love and comments are always appreciated.
