In The Pink

Another weekend is whizzing by and today I'm sharing another card using products from Craftwork Cards.
I really think their products lend themselves to such elegant and stylish cards and this, is no exception. From the backing papers to the card candy...it all works perfectly. And I also love how using just 3 colours with a pop of silver card candy, can make such an effective card.

To make this card, I diagonally cut half of the front away from a square card blank. I then layered these exquisite backing papers on the back of the card and also on my cut section on the front. I used some pearlescent flowers and adhered these along the front section, slightly overlapping the cut. I then added card candy to each of the centres, in co-ordinating colours. Finally, I added a black ribbon, a little bow and a greetings plaque, matted and layered in the colour theme throughout the card.

  1. I think these last 2 cards really prove that you don't need to go overboard on colours or flash to create an effective design...there's a real sharpness about this card that I like a lot! it's just beautiful in it's simplicity...and the diagonal cut adds that little bit of brilliance! :D

Wonderful stuff, baby...I'm so proud of you! :D 333
