Nothing Is Impossible

Hello everyone!

Hope you've all had a great week, so far! It's been glorious weather here in London and you might find this hard to believe but I actually managed to enjoy some of it because for the first time in, I don't know how long~ last week, I actually had 3 whole days where I didn't had to worry about deadlines or projects and even though it didn't last for long ~ it was lovely while it lasted!

Before I share today's post, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who stops by to leave a comment and to all my new followers! You always make my day with your lovely comments and your kind words and it really does make all the hard work that goes into each and every piece that I create so worthwhile! So, from the bottom of my heart ~ THANK YOU!

Right, back to today's post and I'm sharing a card that I created for the October issue of Making Cards Magazine. I still get such a buzz to see my projects in the magazine and when it comes to creating any project for them, I always try to make something a little different and love trying out new folds that I can bring to you all. This particular card is called a dutch fold card and it's such a great idea for those extra special cards that you want to make! Now, me being me...I don't do things by half and it wasn't good enough to just make the card, I wanted to do more and so, I made a special wallet for the card to fit inside. As always, I hope you love this project...

For those who might follow me on Pinterest, you will know that I have a couple of addictions in life, one being David Beckham and the other is that I adore Audrey Hepburn ~ she's my icon and when I saw this stamp by Deep Red Stamps, I just knew that I needed to use it but the one thing I didn't have was a quote! So, after much searching (and tearing my hair out) on the internet, I saw a stamp set by Lili of the Valley and lo and behold, it featured a quote from Audrey and worked so well!

The stamped image is stamped onto watercolour card and coloured with Distress Marker pens. I layered the image onto gorgeous papers by Authentique.
I created the wallet using more papers from Authentique Elegant Collection and added feathers, vintage seam binding and paper roses to complete the card.

So, that's it from me for today ~ thanks for stopping by and hope you all have a fabulous day!
See you soon...love Emma xxx
