Bird Song...

Hello friends...

Hope you all had a lovely weekend and you're enjoying a sunny start to your week!!

It's a quick post from me today and I wanted to share another of the cards that I made for Making Cards Magazine. As in the previous post, I used my beloved Graphic 45 papers to make this card ~ and is it just me, or does anyone else hate cutting into these gorgeous pieces of art? Because of the style of this card and all the origami folds, I thought Bird Song was just perfect for this project. As always, I really hope you like it and if you scroll on down, you can see how this card works and unfolds, stage by stage!! Enjoy....

Thank you so much for stopping by today and a BIG thank you for all your lovely comments on my last post!! I'll see you all again soon...

Have a lovely evening and bye for now!!
Love Emma xxx

P.S. Before I go, I just wanted to let you know that if you head on over to the Craftwork Cards blog this week, then there's lots of gorgeous new ideas using the Beautiful Bunting Kit and if you leave a comment you might be lucky enough to win a kit of your own!! So...good luck and fingers crossed!!!

  1. This is exquisite, Emma. Yes, the paper does fit the folded card's contours and shapes. The origins of origami!

  3. What a beautiful card - and yes, the perfect fit between the papers and the folded architecture... so stylish! I horde all sorts of papers, not just the G45 ones - it's an act of will to cut into any of them!!

  5. Beautiful as ever Emma, I couldn't make this for any immediate family though, they don't like bird type things! I do like the Oriental feel though...I just love the cards but I don't get Making Cards around here and I haven't even seen it on my travels!!
