Happy Friday, everyone and what better way to celebrate the weekend, than with another card made using The Crafthouse Press' wonderful new collaboration with the Gorjuss girls!
I've never been so excited about a product, as I am with these new designs. Each and every one make such fabulous cards and for me, I think this one has to be amongst my favourites. The colours, the depth of decoupage and the stunning illustration, just tick all the right boxes.
So, let's get down to business...*smiles* how did I make it? The image is once again, layered using 3D foam pads and on some of the layers, I've curled them slightly to give some more definition. I used the beautiful backing papers that are supplied with the images and matted these onto a cream card blank and on the final matt of paper, I used a craft box essential ~ Martha Stewart's deep edge punch which creates that wonderful fancy border.
Another of my must have items at the moment and something that gives such great effect to your projects, are Petaloo's fabulous range of flowers. No matter what tones your card is...there always seems something that will be the right colour match straightaway. As the final touches, I added some ribbon, the greeting plaque and adhered the flower to the card, together with some hand punched fronds, that I distressed on the edges.
Hope you all like it...and have a wonderful weekend!
