This time on my cardmaking journey we visit one of my favourite places, Italy and in particular the Masquerade Ball at the Carnival of Venice.
The mask was dry embossed onto white pearl card using a wonderful mask stencil that I couldn't resist when I saw it. When combined with harlequin backing papers, fibres and jewels the overall effect is simple, yet stunning.
