Dream A Little Dream...

Hello everyone and happy Friday!!
Just a quick post to let you all know that there is a new challenge started over at the Sarah Hurley Challenge Blog and the theme for this month's challenge is:
ALL THAT GLITTERS IS GOLD

Now, I will admit I'm not a glittery person so this was a tough one for me but I thought and thought and finally decided on gold Cosmic Shimmer spray and gilding flakes and here's a little sneaky peek of what I made and if you click HERE you will be whisked over to the blog to see the tag in full. As always, I hope you like it!

The stamps I used are available HERE from Sarah's shop and I stamped the image onto watercolour card, then coloured it with Distress Marker Pens.

We would love for you to join in with our challenge and if you need some more inspiration, then just head over to Sarah's challenge blog to see all my lovely DT members little works of art!

Okey dokey time for me to go and see if Mr Mojo is visiting and I'll see you all again tomorrow with a Craftwork Cards share!! Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Bye for now and have a fabulous day...love Emma xxx

It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year...

Good morning everyone!

Hope you've had a fabulous week and you're all ready for the weekend!
I'm just popping by to let you know that there is a brand new challenge starting over on the Sarah Hurley Challenge Blog and guess who's picked the theme!?!?! Yep...it's my choice for this month and I chose AUTUMN!!
We want to see all your creations that feature my favourite time of year and we can't wait to see what you make!!

If you need a little inspiration then pop on over to the blog to see what the DT have come up with and here's my card, that I made for the challenge!! As always, I hope you like it...
It was really hard to photograph the little acetate window that I die cut in the centre of the card but I think I managed to capture it in the end. I printed the "Autumn"wording onto the acetate and then used it as the centre piece to my die cut flower which I created using the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Die and the leaves from his Tattered Leaves die and coloured with a combination of Distress Inks and Dyan Reaveley's Dylusions Sprays!

Papers and Autumn wording are from Sarah's brand new and quite lovely Farmer's Market kit...available here!

Before I leave, I just want to tell you about Sarah's One Day Deal!!
You can click HERE for all the details but it's not to be missed if you love these gorgeous products!!

Time for me to fly...there's a mountain of craft building up again on my desk and it all needs to be done, dusted and finito by the end of the weekend!!
See you all soon with another of the cards I made for Imagination Crafts....thank you so much for all the lovely comments on my last creation for them!! You all made me a very happy Emma!!
Bye for now and I'll be visiting as soon as I get the ink of my fingers later tonight!! lol!!

Memories...

Good morning everyone, and a big hello to all my new followers!! I'm really looking forward to getting to know you!!

Well, after years of talking about it today is the big day and the Olympics have finally arrived... There's one thing that I do know...I won't be going anywhere near London over the next couple of weeks, and as for a tube, those are bad enough any time of the year let alone when a huge event like this is happening and the city will be packed to the rafters with tourists!!!

Anyway, if you're not interested in the Olympics and you have some crafty time on your hands, a new challenge has started over on the Sarah Hurley Challenge Blog.

The lovely Clare has picked the theme of:
ALTER SOMETHING
...and we would love it if you could come and join us with this challenge and there's lots of inspiration from the team over on the blog. Here is my piece for the challenge...another of those little photo memory boxes, made using paper and embellishments from Sarah's Say Cheese Digi Kit, which can be bought HERE!
I printed out my bits and pieces to create this box onto paper, card and acetate and then added some ribbon and pins to complete it.

Okey dokey, lots to do and deadlines to meet...so, time for me to go!!

I'll be back soon with another share and also, be dropping by your blogs to see all your lovely creations!!
See you soon and bye for now!

Notes On Paper

Hi everyone!!

Hope you are all ok...sorry for my absence in blogland over the last few days...as you all know life at Chez Williams' is never dull and this week has been...manic!!! Wall to wall crafting, it's been non stop and in between it all...a life has to go on too!! Anyway, the "to do" list has had another major job ticked off it today...now, I just need to work through the rest of the it!! Eek...

Anyway, today there is a new challenge over at Sarah Hurley Challenge Blog and the theme is:
DIMENSION AND TEXTURE
...and here's my challenge piece!!
For all the details of this challenge and more inspiration from the DT, click HERE!

I used papers from Sarah's fab new Retro CD to make my tag notebook. I covered a die cut chipboard tag with some of the gorgeous woodgrain papers and then added a notes section, where you can tear off each page once you've used it. I then stacked a couple of rosettes made from more of Sarah's papers, added a wooded embellishment and pins. Finally I tied ribbon and twine through the top to hang the finished tag.

Before I go...if you like these gorgeous papers and would be interested in being a member of this fab and talented design team...then click HERE because there is a Design Team Call happening right now!!! The call closes at midnight on the 25th June, so if you think you fit the description...why not give it a go!!!

I'm off on my blog rounds now to catch up with all your lovely creations...
See you soon with some more of those Clarity shares that I teased you with at the beginning of the week!

Rock Pool...

Another day has flown by and the list of exciting adventures is always growing. Yesterday, I spent the day with my gorgeous friend, Sarah Hurley doing some more filming for Kirstie Allsopp's new craft show and then, I arrived home to an inbox full of emails and more new exciting adventures. I think I can safely say, my diary is bursting...and I'm very, very excited about what lies ahead!!

But for today, I wanted to share my second card that I made using the Kaisercraft Rock Pool collection from Merly Impressions. I hope you like it...
I decided to create one of my little shadow boxes from Kraft card because I thought it would work so well to give the dimension that I needed to capture the feel of the ocean. Once again, I created my scene useing papers and die cuts from the Rock Pool collection, together with the adorable whale stamp that I coloured with Promarkers and adhered to the background scene with 3D foam.

Okey dokey, time for me to make my blog rounds, then gaze at the ever growing piles of paper, stamps and just wonder where to start. lol!!! I'll be back tomorrow with the last of my Rock Pool cards but until then, hope you all have a lovely evening and thank you so much for stopping by to take a look at my little creation.

Bye for now...

Bon Voyage

Hi everyone!!

Well...we've definitely had a change in the weather and sorry to be typically English but...it's too darn hot!!! My regular followers know that when it comes to this weather...I just melt when it gets to these temperatures, and London is definitely very HOT today!! The best part of the day though...evening, a cool breeze and a beautiful sunset...perfect!!!

Anyway, I hope you're all having a fabulous week, and I hope you're enjoying the sunshine! Today, is a new challenge over at Sarah Hurley and this challenge is all about....
NEW BEGINNINGS

We'd love to see your creative pieces and if you need any inspiration, the DT have come up with some fabulous ideas...and here's mine, I hope you like it!!!

I chose to make a little Bon Voyage suitcase, ready for a new beginning...maybe somewhere exciting, where you start new dreams and new adventures!! The papers are all from Sarah's Britannia CD and of course, the die cuts are Tim Holtz's Vintage Valise, Branch and Leaf and Tattered Florals Alterations Sizzix Dies. I added some computer generated text and some twine.

So, that's about it from me for today...it's been a slightly hectic week of crafting, one that I wasn't expecting and one that will continue for the next few days...wish me luck because I have deadlines looming and as yet...no card projects!!! Eek.... lol!!

Thank you for all your comments on my last post...as always, I appreciate each and every one of them!!
I'll be visiting all your blogs later tonight...see you then and have a lovely evening!!
Take care....love Emma xxx

Home Is Where The Heart Is

Good morning everyone!!

Just dropping by to let you all know that there is a new challenge starting over on Sarah Hurley's Challenge Blog.

The lovely Jaine has chosen ~ Take me HOME as the theme, and we would love to see what you can create. So, come and join us and if you should need any inspiration, then the DT have made some gorgeous samples and you can see them all HERE.

Here's my interpretation of the theme...
The papers and the blooms are all from Sarah's fabulous new Britannia CD which can be bought, here. I used the Caged Bird die and painted the cage with the Adirondack Gold paint dabber and used DI on the bird itself. I added the painted branch die cut, some hand dyed seam binding and finally, the text which I printed from the computer.

If you love Sarah's designs and would like to have an array of background papers to hand at all times, they can now be bought directly from here.

Right, lots to do and the whip is being cracked, so time for me to start making samples for Barbara's shows that are on next weekend!
See you soon and thanks for stopping by.

Fashion Statement

Good morning everyone!

Hope you're all looking forward to the weekend and have something nice planned. Me? I'm hoping to pop along to The Big Stamp and Scrapbooking Show at Ally Pally just for a flying visit, then it's my Dad's big 70...shh, don't tell him I told you!! So, I plan on spoiling him rotten and celebrating his day in style!!

Today is the start of a new challenge over on the Sarah Hurley Challenge Blog and it's all about...
CIRCLES

If you click HERE, you will be able to get all the details of the challenge and see what the rest of the wonderful creations that the team have made!! We hope you will join us with this challenge and look forward to seeing what you make!!
To make this, I used papers from Sarah's Easter Digi Kit, painted an old ribbon spool, wrapped twine around it and then decorated it with buttons, handmade flowers and seam binding.

So, it's that time of the day when I'd better think about what I need to do, organise myself and then, go and make another cup of strong coffee to get me through it!! lol.

See you tomorrow and hope you all have happy weekends!!

Sarah Hurley Challenge ~ Steampunk

Hi everyone!

Thank you for all your lovely messages and well wishes for my Mum...I've passed them on and I think she was really chuffed, she feels quite famous!! lol. She's in bed at the moment and not feeling too good but I'm doing my best Florence Nightingale act and looking after her.

In the meantime, it's time for another challenge over at the Sarah Hurley Challenge Blog. This fortnight's theme was set by the lovely Claire and is all about STEAMPUNK. So, if you head on over there, you can get all the challenge details and be inspired by the fab makes from the team...including the following card from moi, which I hope you like!!
This card was made using papers and elements from Sarah's brand new Steampunk CD, which is available here. I added an embossed panel of Core'dinations cardstock and then some Gadget Gears which I die cut from chipboard and embossed with embossing powder to give a vintage look. I made the flower using some more of Sarah's papers and the Tattered Floral Die and then added the bottle top centre.

So, I really hope you will join us for this challenge and can't wait to see all your makes.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look at my creation and I'm coming round right now, to see all your blogs and say hello!!

Bye for now and see you soon!

With Love...

Morning everyone! Hope you've all had a lovely week and now looking forward to another weekend, which I hate to say but, hasn't it come round fast again. As a good friend of mine said to me earlier in the week, an eight day week would be perfect to get everything done and I totally agree but saying that, I'm sure I would fill those eight days and then be asking for nine!!!

Anyway, I just wanted to rop by to let you all know about this fortnight's challenge over on the Sarah Hurley Challenge Blog and this time it's all about...BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS. We would love it if you would join us in this challenge and look forward to seeing all your creations. Should you need any inspiration, then this is the tag that I made and if you click here, you can see all the gorgeous makes from the DT!!
To make this tag, I used papers and elements from Sarah's gorgeous new Steampunk CD and added some Tim Holtz Alterations dies and vintage seam binding that I dyed with Distress Stain.

Okey dokey, it's time for me to face the weekly shop and head to Tesco~wish me luck!!!
Thank you, so much for taking the time to stop by and take a look...I hope you all have a great day and a wonderful weekend!
See you soon and bye for now!

Little Box of Love Hearts

I hope you've all had a lovely week and you're trying to stay warm! I must admit, as long as I'm wrapped up warm and cosy and the sun is shining bright, I don't actually mind the weather we're having at the moment. At least we aren't as cold as some areas of Europe...I heard that the temperature in Moscow is round about -23˚c ~ I really can't comprehend how cold that must be, we complain when the temperatures dip below -3˚c!! lol.

Anyway, it's already time to tell you all about the new challenge over on Sarah Hurley's Challenge Blog and this fortnight, I've chosen the theme...and the theme I've chosen is:
LOVE IS ALL AROUND

If you head on over to the blog, you can see what the DT have been making and we would love you to all join in with this challenge. If you're still looking for inspiration, this is what I've made using Sarah's new Valentine Digi Kit, available HERE! I hope you like my Valentine Gift Box...

Hope you all have a lovely weekend and don't forget that Barbara Gray will be back on our screens this weekend and I have a sneaky suspicion that you might LOVE some of the stamps that she's going to be demoing.

Bye for now.
