Walking In The Air...

Good morning everyone!!

Hope everyone is ok and not suffering too much in this heat...but if you are, then maybe today's post and share will cool you right down because today, I have another DT share from Clarity Stamp and it's still all about Christmas here at Chez Williams'!! When I finished this card, it immediately reminded me of The Snowman and Walking In The Air. I expected to see him flying across the moon at some point...lol!

So, without further ado, here it is...as always, I really hope you like it!
Yesterday, I shared the Holly Tree and this is the second stamp in the set of two featuring the Pear Tree. As you can see, I chose to do something completely different to the holly tree, to show you the diversity of the stamps.
The background is created using Distress Inks and as Barbara mentioned on the show, there's my signature cloudy sky!! :) The pear tree itself is coloured with Promarkers and I added some Spellbinders die cut snowflakes around the tree to complete the card.

I'm off to cool down before trying to find Mr Mojo who seems to have gone on holiday for the last couple of days!! I'll be back tomorrow with my share from The Artistic Stamper before resuming the rest of my Clarity shares on Thursday. So, please stop by to take a look tomorrow and I can't wait to read all your comments about this card, today!!
See you soon and bye for now!

Up, Up and Away...

Good morning friends!! I hope you all had a wonderful long, bank holiday weekend and can you believe that the sun actually made an appearance? Me? I spent most of the weekend finalising magazine projects but I'm so pleased with these projects and I can't wait for you all to see them!! As for this week, the rollercoaster is fired up to start all over again and it's time to ask Mr Mojo to be kind and give me some inspiration for a new set of projects but in the meantime, it will be my birthday countdown!! Yep...in less than one week, I'm 21 again!!! Time really does fly and this year has gone so quickly! I'm sure someone has quickened time!!

Anyway, enough waffling, lol and time to share a card...
As promised, here is another card that I made Clarity Stamps and for Barbara Gray's German TV shows and as always, I hope you like it!

I also forgot to show you this card below, which I made for Barbara's Create and Craft show's last month!! So oops, here it is ~ better late than never!!
The background on this card is created using the Gelli Plate.
Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look at today's little creations and as always, I really do appreciate all your comments and love reading them all!! You really are some of the best blogging buddies out there!!

See you all soon and have a fab day...bye for now!

So, I really hope that you like this collection and I can't wait to read all your comments.
Thank you so much for stopping by to take a look ~ as always, I really appreciate your visits and it means so much to see you all here!!

Snowbird...

So, today has definitely been one of those days...I had to pop out to do some shopping and get my glasses updated with a new prescription and what should've taken only 1 hour or so...took me 4!!! The glasses went to plan and they did those while I waited but then coming home, the strap on my new bag broke just as I was crossing a busy road and I nearly got run over trying to save my bag and everything in it being squashed by an oncoming car. I then suddenly realised as I was sitting in a massive traffic jam for 45 minutes, I'd forgotten to get the vital ingredient that I'd actually gone out for, for something that I'm halfway through cooking. Peppermint Essence...would you believe it would be so hard to find!?!?! Four shops and one hour later...I finally found it but apparently people don't cook anymore so, ingredients like this are a thing of the past!! Hmm, this is what I was told in Tesco...and guess where I found the recipe that I'm cooking...yep, the little booklet Tesco are giving away for Christmas!!! Arghhhhh!! So now, I'm home...bag~less, in need of a cuppa and a sit down, way behind schedule but I do have Peppermint Essence ~ thank you Sainsburys!!!!

So, after my fun and games...I thought I'd just drop by to say hello and share another couple of cards in my Christmas countdown. As with a few of the previous cards I've been showing, these were also made for Making Cards Magazine...I hope you like them!!

The stamp is from Stampendous and the papers are from Authentique. I made the rose using a die from Paperartsy and the rosettes are using my beloved Sizzix/Tim Holtz dies. I also used a Tim Holtz Alterations Mini Cabinet die, to die cut the aperture in my shadow box card and on the second card, I stamped the image onto card, die cut using the Baroque die.

Okey dokey, time for me to start perusing my list and see if I can actually tick anything off it!! You never know, there might be a miracle!
Thank you all for stopping by to take a look at today's post and I really appreciate all the visits at this busy time of year...
See you soon with some more cards and creations...bye for now ~ Love Emma xxx

Christmas Sparkle....

Evening everyone...it's another quick share from me for tonight and some more Christmas card inspiration!!

Once again, as with the last couple of posts that I've shared with you all ~ this set of cards were made for the December issue of Making Cards Magazine and feature some gorgeous stencils, Sparkle Medium and decoupage stamps from Imagination Crafts.

For more detail of how I made these cards, you can buy back issues of Making Cards Magazine, HERE!

Some of my regular blogging buddies might remember in my last post that I mentioned I'd taken some pictures of the Christmas lights in London's West End. If...I say, IF...I get all my jobs done, I'm hoping to get back into London this coming week, to take some more photos and be part of that Christmas spirit that you get wandering around the bustling streets of my favourite city but for now, here's some of the photos that I've taken so far!! Enjoy....
Oxford Street, London W1
South Molton Street, London W1
Regent Street,  London W1
...and of course, no visit to London is complete without a visit to my favourite shop!!!

That's all from me for today but thank you so much for taking the time to say hello and visit me and take a look at my latest creation ~ I can't wait to read all your comments!! I'll be visiting all my lovely blogging buddies asap to say hello but until then...bye for now and see you tomorrow!

Winter Wonderland

Another week has flown by and to be honest, I must admit...I REALLY don't know what time of day it is at the moment ~ I could've sworn we were only on Wednesday!! Lol!!

Anyway, I now know it's THURSDAY...*repeats to oneself, over and over again* and of course, this means it's the penultimate day of my Clarity shares and as always, I hope you like it!!
I actually did a similar card to this for Barbara's shows in Germany, which I will share with you all soon but of course, I needed to make a few alterations so that they weren't the same and even though I used the same stamp set, this one actually looks very different when you compare them.
The card is actually made up of three single stamps but to achieve the snowy forest in the background, I just stamped repeatedly until I was happy. I then created the snowy effect and the sky, using my well loved and used DI's before colouring the house with Promarkers and adding glitter highlights.

Also, just before I go...some of you will remember that I joined my lovely friend Sarah Hurley during the summer to be a part of Kirstie Allsopp's new show and many of you said at the time, that when I knew it was airing to let you know...well tonight is the first of the series and for all I know, I might have ended up on the cutting room floor but for those Kirstie fans amongst you...you can tune in at 8:00 on Channel 4!!!
So, that's it from me for today and thank you so much for dropping by to visit me and I'll look forward to reading all your comments!! It's always so good to see them all and really does make all the hard work worthwhile!
I'll be back tomorrow with my final share of the week...so, I'll see you then!!
Bye for now...love Emma xxx

Hovering Around....

Hello everyone!

Hope you've all had a lovely day, so far. A quick hello...goodbye from me today as I'm feeling a little under the weather! I'm suffering from severe neck and wrist pain and so, I'm having an easy day...well, trying anyway, because for those who know me well, they know that "trying" is a word that doesn't feature in my vocabulary ~ lol to often!!

As promised, today is my second day of Clarity shares ~ I hope you like it!!
To make this card, there were three separate stamps ~ a small single flower, larger single flower and the hummingbird and I built up all my flowers using the masking technique to create the cluster to which the little birdie has been drawn to. I used DI's to create the sky and then matted it onto a Martha Stewart punched background.

Thank you for dropping by to take a look at my little creation and I'll be back tomorrow with another Clarity share but until then, stay warm and have a lovely evening and just before I go, just wanted to let you all know that Julie Hickey will be on QVC with some fabulous new Craftwork Cards kits, tomorrow...Wednesday 7th November at 2pm ~ so, make sure you put it in your diaries and make a date to watch!!
See you soon and bye for now!

Bring Me Sunshine...

Happy Monday, everyone!!

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend and you're now ready for another week full of creativity!! From my "to~do" list, I can tell you...I've got plenty of projects lined up to work on and once I've written my magazine instructions, it's all systems go!!

But before then, I have the first of my Clarity makes, that I made for Barbara's Create and Craft shows, the weekend before last. I was slightly disappointed that some of my samples weren't actually shown during these shows, unfortunately you're in the hands of the presenters and it doesn't always seem to go the way you hope but as always, it's nice for me to be able to share them with my loyal followers here on the blog and it means you get to see all the detail, up close!!

So, this is the first of my cards and as always...I really hope you like it!!

I used three separate stamps to create this scene and created my background with Distress Inks. The image is coloured using the Limited Edition Autumn set of Promarkers.
Okey dokey, break time is over and it's now time to get back to work, with a cup of coffee and a Bounty by my side to give me sustenance as and when I feel the need!!

See you all tomorrow with another share from Clarity...bye for now!

Friendship Like The Holly Tree...

"Love is like the wild rose-briar; Friendship like the holly-tree. The holly is dark when the rose-briar blooms, but which will bloom most constantly?"

Good morning everyone!!

Another very quick post from Chez Williams' this morning and another of the cards that I made for Imagination Crafts...as always, I hope you like it!!
When I opened my box of goodies, the first thing that struck me about all the designs were how wonderfully 'Chrismassy' they all were and this one in particular is just so traditional, it was just gorgeous and for this card, I decided to not use any stencils but to just showcase the gorgeous decoupage stamps. I coloured the image with Promarkers and the the background is created using a Martha Stewart All Over The Page Punch.

Time for me to start crafting...I have a full day planned and plenty to do and this very bad blogging buddy will make a concerted effort to visit all your blogs later!! Between all work and no play and an extremely dodgy internet connection...I haven't been around as much as I should and for that, I apologise!! But thank you to all of you for your visits here and I really appreciate your continued support and your lovely comments.

See you all soon and bye for now!
