Order of blog hop:
Emma Williams (that's me and you're already here!!)

So, for my project I chose to create a project with the beautiful Minty Fresh Embellishment Bottle Kit. I absolutely adore the colour palette of this kit and the quality of these buttons, pearls, sequins and beads are just stunning...you can't beat them! I hope you love the panel I've created and enjoy the hop...

I started this project with a piece of watercolour card and because I was using Tim Holtz's Tea Time die, I wanted to create a background that would look like a cup of tea had been spilt all over it. I began by spritzing the card with Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distress Spray Stains and just letting the colour run to create drips and spills.

Once happy with my background, I added some randomly torn strips of Tissue Tape and some texture paste using the Tim Holtz Tile Layering Stencil and the Splatters stencil. Another spritz of Tea Dye over the top, before adding a touch of colour using Picked Raspberry Distress Crayon.

To complete the background, I added some ink around the edge, some gold foil highlights and a few paint flicked and scratched lines before matting and layering the background onto copper metallic card stock, followed by a layer of black card.

The teacups are die cut from chipboard and painted with various shades of pink Distress Paints. I then flicked some Picket Fence Distress Paint over the top and shaded the edges with the Black Soot Distress Crayon. Once the teacups were stacked, I then die cut some gold metallic kraft core card using the Shattered die from the Mixed Media 3 Thinlit set , attached the die cut to the background before and mounting the cups over the top. Now, I can start adding those gorgeous Minty Fresh embellishments.
I began by adding a small piece of cheesecloth, tucking it into the top section of the teacup and then added and stuck each individual button, sequin, pearl and bead over the top, using Tim's Collage Medium to attach them.
I kept going until I had this wonderful cascade of buttons, pouring out of the teacup!
I also attached one of Tim Holtz's spoons from the Silverware Adornments set and added a few beads and pearls to it, again using the Collage Medium to attach them. The Figures stamp I used next to this is by Tim Holtz.
As a finishing touch, I dyed some Crinkle Ribbon with Spun Sugar and Victorian Velvet Distress Spray Stains and tied the ribbon into a scruffy bow. I attached this to a strip of the ribbon across my panel and placed a button and heart charm from the Attic Findings kit onto the centre of the bow.
Finally, I added a Small Talk Sticker to complete the panel.
I really hope you love this project and adore the 28 Lilac Lane embellishments as much as I do...they are perfect for using on cards, scrapbook pages or home decor and all come in the most beautiful colour palettes!

28 Lilac Lane is available in stores now, including Simon Says Stamp and also, directly from www.buttonsgaloreandmore.com.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and hope you enjoyed the hop!
Have a great weekend...love Emma x
