To all the wonderful Dad's around the world and one very special Dad and my hero ~
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
Some of you might recognise the project that I'm sharing today, as it was featured on the cover of the June issue of Making Cards Magazine but for those of you who didn't manage to get a copy I wanted to take the opportunity to share my Father's Day card in a box on this special day. As always, there's lots of photos to show all the detail and I really hope you like it...Of course, if you haven't got time to create your own pop up box, you can buy these card blanks from Craftwork Cards but I don't make life easy for myself, lol and this particular version was made from scratch. All the dimensions and a diagram are in the magazine, together with full instructions of how to make it.
The papers that I used to cover this box, are from the Authentique Anchored Paper Pad and then I've used dies from Memory Box to create the clouds and of course, the cogs are created using the Gadget Gears die from Tim Holtz for Sizzix.
The Voyage stamp is from the Classics 1 stamp set by Tim Holtz and stamped directly onto the decorative paper.
I added some shells and twine, together with the a Happy Father's Day stamped message from a Paula Pascual stamp set to complete the card.
...and the wonderful thing about this card, it all folds down flat for you to post!!
Thanks for stopping by today and for all your lovely visits and your comments this week.
See you all soon and bye for now...love Emma xx
