Forever Love...

Hi everyone!

Thank you for all the lovely comments you've been leaving me on my recent posts, I do enjoy reading them all and appreciate all the kind words. I also wanted to say a big hello to all my new followers ~ welcome aboard and hope you enjoy the journey!!

Today, I'm just popping by with a card that I was commissioned to create for the Designs With A Difference feature in the July issue of Making Cards Magazine. This style can be used for any occasion but I wanted to create something very pretty and elegant for a wedding. You can read all about how I made this card with an element of surprise in the magazine, together with a template for the box. Back copies are available HERE but I thought it would be nice to share the card with you, here on my blog!

So, I hope you'll enjoy looking at all the details of this project and if you scroll down, there is a little surprise when you open up the box...

When you pull back the inside box from the slipcase, you can now see the element of surprise...
...pop up hearts!

Below is more detail of the inside...
...and the rows of hearts!
...and what's so cool about this project, when you close the box, it's completely freestanding!!
The papers I used, which are perfect for a wedding theme are from the gorgeous Fancy That collection from My Mind's Eye and I used these in conjunction with Tim Holtz dies ~ Heartfelt and Handwritten.

I really hope you've enjoyed today's post and I'll see you again very soon!
