Life's What You Make It...

Hello everyone...

It's a flying visit from me today but I just wanted to share a couple of cards that I had featured in, and on the cover of the September issue of Making Cards Magazine. This project was all about using the PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Limited Edition JOFY paints, (which unfortunately have now sold out) and a beautiful set of JOFY stamps, (collection 24) and shows how you can use the paints, to create different finishes to each layered element. As always, I hope you love what I've created and I can't wait to read all your comments!
The flowers are stamped onto painted card and each layer then cut out, before I added highlights using another, lighter coloured paint. I then layered up each stamped flower to create a dimensional bloom and added a gem to the centre.
For the background, I used another colour from the set over the top of the Crackle Glaze and then, using one of the stamps from the set, I stamped a background pattern over the top of the paint. I layered the completed design onto corrugated card and added a stamped quote.

The second card used the same techniques but I mixed the colours for a different look.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and hope you all have a lovely evening!
See you soon ~ love Emma xxx

    1. As always, a BIG thank you Theresa for your lovely comment and in answer to your question ~ I do all my watermarking in Photoshop but I do believe there are some free apps available that you can use, it's just that I find Photoshop easier for doing the cropping, editing and watermarking all in one go! Hope that helps and have a GREAT weekend! xxx
