"Fashions fade, style is eternal" ~ Yves Saint Laurent
Good morning everyone...
Hope you've all had a wonderful week. It's been another busy one here and the weekend, well...that looks like it could be more of the same. I'm surrounded by piles of paper, ink and every tool under the sun and if you need me, I'm buried under it all ~ somewhere...
As the Craftwork Cards fans out there know, the wonderful Julie Hickey was gracing our TV screens yesterday with the stunning Paper Couture collection, (if you like the look of what you see, then it's still available to buy, HERE), together with a couple of new paper pads, Harbour Boulevard and Al Fresco, which are now available direct from Craftwork Cards themselves. The studio looked absolutely amazing with all the wonderful samples from the Design Team and I think you can tell how much we all enjoyed using every collection with the amount of samples that were made.
But for me, I just loved Paper Couture and below is a card that I created for the inspiration sheets, featuring mine and many more projects, that you receive with the kit. I'm not going to tell you how I made it, for that you'll need to buy the kit...lol, but I wanted to just show you all the detail and as always, I hope you love what I've made!
Lots of gorgeous die cut detail using the papers!
I even used the papers to decorate the inside of the card!
So, that's it from me for today and thank you so much for stopping by today. I really appreciate all your visits and wanted to say a big hello to all my new followers...thank you for joining my blog and hope you'll enjoy the ride!
Have a wonderful, wonderful weekend and hopefully, the sun will shine bright where you are!!
See you next week...love Emma xx

ReplyDeleteHi Emma, this is just beautiful, such a treasure to receive. May I ask you, if you have a die to cut out the rolled flowers that you used on the dress? or did you cut these out. Many thanks Claire
ReplyDeleteThis has got to be my "most favorite" card of all time. I've been making cards for over 30 yrs and this has captured my heart. I would LOVE to see you do a tutorial on how you made the gorgeous paper flowers. Thank you for sharing !
