Hello everyone!

It's time for me to share another of my CHA projects that I created for Tim Holtz. For this project, I created a card, using the beautiful Sizzix Layered Butterfly dies. These are so cool because you can add multiple layers to the wings and create such beautiful effects.

Below are some more photos of this card to show the detail and dimension of this project and a bit about all the products I used!

To create the background, I used Distress Paints and added layers of Tissue Tape and stencilling using the Dot Fade Layering Stencil.

The butterflies themselves are cut from Metallic Kraft Core Core'Dinations card stock and layered over the top of gold Deco Sheets, inked with jewel tones of alcohol ink. I then added an extra layer of black card, tipped with gold foil. To complete each butterfly, I added wire antenae.
For the wording I used Alphanumeric dies to die cut the gorgeous new Textile Surfaces and added these to a matt of copper metallic kraft core cardstock, before adding a crinkle ribbon bow dyed with Distress Stains.
For more information about all Tim Holtz products, then just click HERE and whilst you're there, you can also read Tim's CHA recap and see videos from the show!

Thanks for stopping by today and hope you all have a great weekend!
See you soon...love Emma x
