A Year In The Life of a Dapper Gentleman...

Hi everyone!

As you all know, I love, love LOVE working with Tim Holtz products ~ so, when I received an email at the end of last year to ask if I would like to create some samples for Tim Holtz's booth at CHA 2016 ~ of course, I said...yes and today, I'm so excited to be sharing the first of these projects with you all!

As soon as my box of goodies arrived and I laid my eyes on them, I was in crafting heaven and I instantly fell in love with all the new ranges but I particularly loved the new Dapper collection and my mind started whirring with ideas of how to use it.

So, once I got to work and inspired by one of my favourite TV programmes and books based on the life of Mr Selfridge ~ I began creating this flip frame and a year in the life of a dapper gentleman!

I've taken plenty of photos of each page, so I hope you enjoy the journey...

To begin with, I used one of the gorgeous new Sophisticate Cabinet Card Frames as my cover and underneath, a tag covered with papers from the Dapper Paper Stash which is the start of the journey.
Each of the pages uses a Pocket Card, ephemera pieces and various idea-ology products and are contained in one of the new Flip Frame pockets which I alcohol inked to create a vintage look around the edges.

Halfway through, I created a divider tag, again using papers from the Dapper Paper Stash and a Quote Band.
As you can see, each page also shows the month and these come courtesy of a wonderful new Sizzix die ~ Calendar Words Script, all die cut from Metallic Kraft Core Card Stock and inked with alcohol ink.

So, I hope you've enjoyed the first of my projects and I can't wait to show you some of the others!
Thank you to Tim, Paula and Mario for inviting me along on this incredible adventure and thank you for popping by today and visiting my blog!
See you soon...love Emma x

  4. I've been wanting that flip frame for a long time, but couldn't figure out what to do with it. What a great project, Emma! I'm going to use the idea and put a photo on each month so we can enjoy some seasonal decor without much fuss. Of course, the putting it together part will take some time, as I go through my TH stash!
