Hope you are all well and thank you so much for all your visits and the lovely comments you've been leaving me! I really do appreciate them all and you always make me smile wide with your kindness and sweet words!
I'm sure no-one can fail to notice that love is in the air and Valentine's Day will soon be upon us, So today and for this week, I'm popping by to share some cards that I've made for this special occasion! Of course, all the cards that I'm posting can be used for other occasions not just Valentine's but I thought it would be nice to share them in the run up to Saturday!
I made this particular set for the February issue of Making Cards Magazine and as a bit of a Banksy fan, I couldn't resist using these wonderful stamps from Bee Crafty. As always, I hope you love my cards...
For the first card, I used one of my all time favourite Banksy images ~ Balloon Girl.
The graffiti style backing papers, which I trawled the internet for because I thought they worked so well with the images are from the Crush collection by Authentique...
...and of course, no card is complete without a little bit of Tim Holtz!
The second card features the Love Hill image. For those who know Banksy's work, this image has been slightly adapted from the original artwork but it's still beautiful and was perfect for my second project!
As with the first card, I mounted my inked background onto the backing papers from Authentique.
So, I hope these have given you some inspiration for Valentine's cards and if you do make some, then please get in touch and let me know! I would love to see them!
Thanks for stopping by today and I'll see you soon with my next Valentine make!
Love Emma xxx
