Creativity...

“You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”

― Maya Angelou

Hi everyone...

Can you believe it's nearly the end of June? Where did it go? I've blinked and whooooosh...it's the 24th June and here we are ~ England are out of the World Cup, (surprise, surprise ~ but I shall now be supporting the USA and hoping they do really well) and it's already time for Wimbledon and for us all to bring out those tennis rackets from the back of the wardrobe, use them for all of two weeks and then hide them away for another year....I'm sure that's not just me who does that?!?!

But in the meantime, I've been busy making my June tag, inspired by Tim's wonderful 12 Tags of 2014. This month, I decided to use Tim's watercolour monoprint technique but mix it up a little and once I'd made the print, I just knew from that watery looking background...I had to go with the Nautical Blueprint set.

So, here's my tag for June ~ as always, I hope you love what I've created!

As you can see, I created the base of my tag, exactly the same way as Tim but using a different layering stencil.
But then I used the Seahorse and Starfish from the Blueprint stamp set as my main image.

I stamped the images, watercoloured them with Distress Marker pens and then added them to my tag, together with some cheesecloth, moss and some die cut fronds which I painted with Distress Paints and die cut using the Tattered Pinecone die.
I stamped the Creativity verse down the side of the tag....
...and then created my fabulous Paula Cheney ribbon to top it all off, before adding some gears and mini gears.
To complete the tag, I used Tim's awesome Chevron Frameworks die to die cut chipboard, which I then painted with Distress Inks and added as a base to my tag.
So, I really hope you love my interpretation of Tim's tag and thank you so much for popping by today to take a look at what I've shared. I really do appreciate all your visits!

See you all soon ~ love Emma xxx
