You Raise Me Up....

Hello friends and a big hello to all my new followers! Welcome aboard and I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all and hope you love all my future posts and creations!! :)

It's been a busy weekend for me again and I did try to attempt to start decorating the house and putting the Christmas tree up but...best laid plans and all that ~ it didn't really work out and at the moment, the house resembles the Christmas department at John Lewis, baubles, reindeers and sparkly things everywhere!! So, guess what I'm hoping to do today after a little bit of creative work??

...and speaking of creativity, the Barbara Gray fans amongst you will know that yesterday was the last of the TV shows for this year, (can't believe I'm saying that) but today I'm sharing the first of my Clarity DT samples that I made for these shows and as always, I hope you love what I've made!
This card is really all about the stencil......and embossing...and inking...and shading...and colour tones...and a little bit more shading!! All the inking is done using Tim Holtz Distress Inks from Ranger and as for the rest, I let the beautiful image do the talking and as always, with my Clarity samples, I didn't overcomplicate the card.
You can just see from the photos the embossed areas which I achieved by running the stencil through a Grand Calibur. Because of the size of the stencil you will need a larger embossing/die cutting machine and the stencil will not fit through the Big Shot.

So, that's it from me for today and I hope I've inspired you with what I've created.

Thank you so much for stopping by and you know how much I appreciate your comments and visits, especially at this busy time of year!!
I'll be back with another of my Clarity DT shares tomorrow but until then, have a wonderful day!!

Bye for now...love Emma xxx
