Where Flowers Bloom, So Does Hope...

Hello friends...

Thank you so much for all the lovely visits to my last post and for all the fabulous comments that you left, they really do make all the hard work that goes into creating all my pieces, so very worthwhile!!

Today, I'm sharing a couple of my Clarity DT samples using the Chrysanthemum stamps and stencils that Barbara was selling on Create and Craft at the weekend. As always, I really hope you love what I've created with this set...
To begin with I wanted to show you the versatility of the stencil and to show you that if you don't own a Gelli Plate, (which I know a lot of you have told me you don't and you haven't been buying the stencils because you think they're for Gelli Plates only), then don't panic because there is so much more that you can do with a stencil!! For this card, I embossed the stencil as in the previous post and then inked with Distress Inks through the stencil, shading it with different colours to give the look that I wanted. I inked around the edges, aged the card a little then stamped one of my favourite quotes to complete the card before matting and layering it onto kraft card.
For the second card, I used the stamps and as you can see I kept the same colour tones as in the previous card but the overall look is completely different. I stamped the chrysanthemum images five times and coloured each of them in before painstakingly cutting them all out. I then built up the flowers in a cluster and used the new Letterbox stamps to stamp the message.
To complete the card, I embossed the background through an embossing folder and added some seam binding, hand cut leaves and Liquid Pearls accents.

So, that's it from me for today and as always, I hope I've inspired you with my makes!!
Thank you so much for stopping by and I'm already looking forward to reading all your comments.

Have a lovely day everyone and see you tomorrow with my final Clarity share...
Love Emma xxx
