With A Song In My Heart...

Hello friends!!

Hope you've all had a wonderful week. I can't quite believe it's Friday already and I seem to have got to the end of the week with as much on my "to do" list as I had at the start of the week!! I blame Mr Mojo who's on a go slow at the moment and doesn't seem to want to play nicely with me!! Anyway, all I can hope for is that he'll come back for the weekend...I NEED him!!

In the meantime, here's another couple of cards that you might have spotted on Create and Craft last weekend, as they were both featured quite a bit in Barbara Gray's Clarity shows. As always, I hope you love what I created using the stamps sets...
Both cards feature what Barbara now calls my "signature" skies but I thought I would go with a two very different skies that would reflect the scene on each of these cards.

I created both backgrounds using Distress Inks and stamped the images with Archival Inks.
The second card is all about the bleak midwinter and I hope I captured that with my scene...

So, I really hope I've inspired you with both of these, very different scenes that I created for my cards. Thank you so much for stopping by and visiting today and thank you for all the lovely comments you always leave me, here...on Facebook and on Twitter!!

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend and the sun shines for you...
See you again soon but bye for now,
Love Emma xxx

  1. I love both cards but I have to admit preferring the bottom one. Both are beautiful and I have no idea how on earth you keep on turning out such awesome work

  3. I love them both, Emma. The clouds behind the shepherds almost give the impression of a sandstorm rolling in. Very atmospheric. The bottom one just illustrates what Barbara said that trees are the best thing to buy if money is tight. A lovely picture. After spending a fortune in the Clarity van on Thursday at Wollaton, I am raring to use them to try out all the techniques Barbara showed us. Have a good week, and I look forward to seeing your samples next weekend. xx Maggie
