Peace On Earth...

It's a flying visit from me this morning but I just wanted to say hello...

Yesterday, I spent a lovely day in London, at Liberty, with two of my very good friends. The weather was absolutely diabolical, which was such a shame, but we stayed huddled up in the cafe drinking Baileys Coffee, having a mince pie and chatting, which made the time fly. Before I left, I took photos of all the gorgeous Christmas lights in Regent Street and Carnaby Street and then started the journey home!! Unfortunately, due to a couple of incidents on the tube it took me longer than anticipated but I finally got in around 7:00, collapsed into the chair and stayed there for the rest of the night but it was a wonderful day and it's definitely put me in the festive mood!!

Today, I'm sharing some more cards that I made for Making Cards Magazine and these ones appeared way back in October. Of course, the stamps I used to create these are by Clarity Stamp and I painted the window scenes using Perfect Pearls by Ranger to give the look of stained glass! As always, I hope you like them...

The backgrounds to both of these cards are created using alcohol ink on mirri card.

Okey dokey, I'd better fly as I've got lots to do and commissions to make...it never stops here at Chez Williams', I can see that I'll be making cards whilst eating my Christmas dinner at this rate!! lol!!
Hope you all have a fabulous weekend and enjoy your Christmas preparations!
See you all soon and bye for now!
Love Emma xxx

  2. Smashing cards, love the use of alcohol inks. Sorry to hear of your long journey home - will we be seeing your pix of the lights though?

  3. So pleased to read of a good day out with your friends; mine comes on Monday and I am looking forward to that.

These stained glass panels remind me that in 2013 I have pledged to explore more colouring techniques. Many of the materials and media are already here; it is time to use them!

However, I have to bow to the expertise always exhibited on these blog pages and say, again & again ................
