La Dame Aux Camelias...

Hi everyone!!

Thank you for all your lovely comments on my advent box in my last post...I was so proud of it and you were all so kind ~ I definitely have some of the very best followers and blogging buddies ever!!! I also wanted to say thank you for everyone who saw my Clarity samples on Barbara's shows over the weekend!! I think you all know my work so well by now, that some of you don't even have to hear my name, you just know them by sight and that really does mean so much to me!! :)

So, as my regular followers know that once the cards have been shown on C&C, that means I get to show them in all their glory here on the blog and I thought I'd start with my favourite of the bunch. As always, I hope you like it....
I absolutely loved working with this stamp and masking set, as I'm a huge fan of the work of Alphonse Mucha and as soon as I saw image of Sarah Bernhardt, I just knew what I wanted to create!!
The background of the card is created with Distress Inks and the Clarity Paris Skyline Mask. I then stamped the image onto a piece of card and handpainted it using Perfect Pearls which gave it the most gorgeous shimmery, soft effect to the piece. Once that was all dry and I was 110% happy, I stamped and coloured the roses around the edge and then blended the card with some Vintage Photo DI for a vintage look. Finally, I stamped the message, matted and layered it all and voilĂ ....

So, that's the first of my samples for this month's Clarity shows...I hope you'll visit me throughout the week, to see what else I created and as always, I'm sorry for not getting round to saying hello to everyone...I'm still fighting this virus that I had and I'm still on a "so-slow" but I do intend to pop by, ASAP!! Thank you all for your patience and putting up with me!
I'll see you tomorrow with another share but until then...bye for now!
Love Emma xxx
