Have A Beautiful Day...

Hi everyone!!

Well, I think you can safely say Autumn is here, and in some parts of the country...with a vengeance. If you are affected by the dreadful weather, at the moment ~ stay safe, warm and please take care. Here in London, it's cold and on Sunday, I actually had to turn the central heating on before I turned into an icicle. Usually, we try and hold out until October but for one day only, it just had to be done.

Thank you for all your lovely comments that you left on my last post. I know I keep saying it but I really do apologise for being such a bad blogging buddy just lately!! I'm hoping that I can see a chink of light at the end of the long tunnel that I'm in at the moment, but I don't want to tempt fate...so, shh, I don't want to jinx it!!! lol!

At the moment, everything I'm working on can't be shown yet but in true Blue Peter style...here's one I made earlier.
Some of you will probably remember this card from a set that I made for the magazine, way back in April for the June issue of Making Cards. I'll show you the other one I made to complete the set, in my next post but I thought you might like to see some of the detail up close and as always, I hope you like it...

Okey dokey, time for me clear up the bombsite that used to called a dining room, until I turned it into my "craft room"!!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and I really do love reading all your comments!!
See you soon and bye for now!
Love Emma xxx

  1. It's stunning lovely. Oh yes it's chilly I had to pop the heating on too for a bit just so it wasn't too cold when Keagan had his bath nor for when I had my shower this morning! During the day I've one of those halogen heaters so I pop that on in which ever room I'm in, though that tends to be my craft room most days! Take care and stay warm. Zo xx

  3. You're so right Emma, autumn has arrived, I had to reach for my heavy winter coat today.....it was toooo cold to be brave and kid myself LOL!

This is a beautiful card, as always, and the flag design works perfectly with the elegance shaped card.

Thanks for visiting my blog too.... Since the schools have gone back I was expecting more time to catch up with things.....but I havnt :-( I certainly need more hours in the day. Let me know if you find any. :-D.
Take care, looking forward to your next projects

  4. I remember this from the magazine; it was stunning then and still is (of course).

Just when I was getting used to the idea you operate from a bespoke design studio-at-home, you go and spoil the image by mentioning a dining room. How can mere mortals who do in fact have a craft room compete with this level of skill, I ask myself.

Actually, my office desk was once our dining room table in a former home!

This pink & white union jack theme could catch on as home decor! Just thought of that extra comment on the actual post!

  5. Hi Emma.
I love your pretty pink flag. How brilliant to adapt it like this, you are so clever.
We have had sooooo much rain and have several roads under water so am staying snuggly at home. The sun has just made a quick appearance so things are definitely improving.
Thank you so your lovely comments.
    Take care my friend.
