Flowers In Bloom...

Anyone else finding that this week is flying again? I can't believe that it's Wednesday already...I'm sure someone is speeding time up...there is just not enough hours in the day for me to get everything done!! When I was a little girl, school days seemed an eternity...why can't craft days be like this?

Thank you to everyone who left such a lovely comment on my post yesterday and as promised, here is part two of my wedding collection that I made for Craftwork Cards and CHA 2012! I'm really looking forward to hearing what you think about them...
This is a little place setting that I made, which once again has one of the gorgeous blooms that I built up from a few of the die cut flowers in the pad to create a 3D flower. I used the Candi Stamps to stamp the name of the person onto the Candi. Of course, if the name was longer the design would have to change!

I also made a small favour box from scratch, to accompany the collection. I thought this could be used for confetti, a slice of wedding cake...the possibilities are endless! The box itself is so easy to make, it's just a matter of getting the measurements and scorelines absolutely spot on...once that's done, easy peasy...just decorate it however you choose but I think these blooms just lend themselves to creating something really special and that would be treasured for a long, long time to come!

Once again, I've showed lots of pics to give you close ups of all the detail...
So, that's part two and I hope you like it... If you can check back tomorrow, and I would love it if you could, then I will be showing part three of this collection and you can see how everything comes together to make a very special wedding set.

Look forward to seeing you then...same time, same place!
Bye for now.
Love Emma xxx

  2. Hi Emma, This is a fabulous set, love them all.
Know what you mean about time 'running away' I just don't know where it goes!
    Have a great week.
    Avril xx

  3. Amazing work lovely, so inspiring. Take care Zo xx

  4. It just gets better, doesn't? Almost makes me want to marry again so I can theme everything myself. I hope the message is reaching engaged couples and wedding planners out there - Emma is your girl when it comes to themed paper goods!

She also has a fab bird cage!

Actually our wedding (my #2 and The Best) was just 7 years ago, with a lovely theme. It was also my 50th birthday with a double celebration that Worked.

I made the invitations and place settings, followed by The Scrapbook Album that got me started ... but they were nothing like the set you've created, Emma.

  5. These are stunning-love them!

  6. ...Emma, these makes are simply beautiful...your card is stunning and your center piece reminds me of a catherine wheel, very clever and the favour box is lush, the layers on your flowers with the candi must of taken an age to glue into place!...superb work as ever...Melx :)

  7. I'm loving your close up photos - such clarity and great exposure. Do you know I've never yet made those little flowers from Candi!! but they look so gorgeous in your pics that I'm gonna have a go.

  8. Emma
These are gorgeous again and the paper collection is to die for. You must have been so chuffed to have your cards at CHA wow!

I certainly know what you mean about being rushed off your feet. I can't believe I only have 2 weeks left of the summer holidays to get the kids ready for school before we go on holiday. My craft time has been non existant for a fair few weeks now :-(

Love looking at your creations, they inspire me to get making again.

    Claire x

Thank you for all your comments and messages, they are all appreciated and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon...
