Rock Pool...

Another day has flown by and the list of exciting adventures is always growing. Yesterday, I spent the day with my gorgeous friend, Sarah Hurley doing some more filming for Kirstie Allsopp's new craft show and then, I arrived home to an inbox full of emails and more new exciting adventures. I think I can safely say, my diary is bursting...and I'm very, very excited about what lies ahead!!

But for today, I wanted to share my second card that I made using the Kaisercraft Rock Pool collection from Merly Impressions. I hope you like it...
I decided to create one of my little shadow boxes from Kraft card because I thought it would work so well to give the dimension that I needed to capture the feel of the ocean. Once again, I created my scene useing papers and die cuts from the Rock Pool collection, together with the adorable whale stamp that I coloured with Promarkers and adhered to the background scene with 3D foam.

Okey dokey, time for me to make my blog rounds, then gaze at the ever growing piles of paper, stamps and just wonder where to start. lol!!! I'll be back tomorrow with the last of my Rock Pool cards but until then, hope you all have a lovely evening and thank you so much for stopping by to take a look at my little creation.

Bye for now...
Love Emma xxx

Am ok hun thanks for asking, been pretty bad lately so not been about as much, just trying to get through each day best I can, crafting helps to focus on something else. so lots of Smash journalling being done and frantic card making as I try to catch up with myself! Take care lovely. Zo xx

  12. your 3D cards are second to none! they're just laid out so well so as not to dominate the card but really, just add a subtle dimension that a 2D card can't give..love the colours you chose as well!

    LOVELY! :D
