"I Love Paris When It Sizzles" ~ Cole Porter

Hi everyone!!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend...and for those who joined in with Sarah Hurley's Blog Hop, thank you...the winners are now posted HERE and a BIG thank you for all the lovely comments that you left on my London tag and to all the new followers that have joined me on my crafting journey!!

As some of you know, my Dad is celebrating turning the big 70...or if you ask him, 21 AGAIN!!! I just popped on today to show you all the card that I made for this very special person and here it is... I hope you like it!!
He adores Paris, so...what else could I create and with this card, I wanted to capture the beauty and flamboyance of this wonderful city!! I added the big bold shabby flowers because I thought they worked so well with the image and my Dad is the biggest fan of my paper flowers, so it would have been rude not to put them on there!!

The edges of the stamped image are embossed with UTEE and had mica flakes added to it!!

Right, time for me to make another cuppa and take a dose of painkillers for a persistent headache which is plaguing me of late!!

I'll be back soon with some more creations and also be visiting all your blogs later today!!
Bye for now!!!
Love Emma xxx

Hope you can beat the nagging headache soon - if it keeps persisting you ought to go to the doctors (or maybe the optician and get your eyes checked out)

  14. Hi Emma
That's such a beautiful card - lucky Dad! I love turquoise and those big flowers are absolutely gorgeous. The whole thing is very flamboyant - just like Paris (which as far as I'm concerned looks good in any weather!).
Hope your headache clears up soon - know the feeling on that one.
