Classy and Fabulous

Good morning friends...hope you all had a lovely weekend! At the moment, these weeks are going by so fast and the weekends seems to disappear in a flash, I only blinked and it was Sunday night!!

Anyway, I've just popped on to share another card using those fabulous papers from the Grace Taylor paper pad, available at QVC. I hope you like it...
Once again, I kept the overall look of the card in the style of shabby chic, adding some die cuts, paper rolls and then stamped one of my favourite quotes from Coco Chanel. To be honest, I think I should've lived in the 1940's or 1950's. I just love everything about that era...for me, this era epitomizes how a woman should be ~ classy and fabulous and do it all with style!!

Right, time for me to go...at the moment, my mojo has gone astray and it doesn't want to be found!! So, wish me luck in looking for it because I have deadlines to meet and nothing to show for them yet!!
Eek...

I'll be round to see all your creations, later today!!

Bye for now and see you soon!
Love Emma xxx

  8. It's a gorgeous card, Emma. The 1940's seem very in fashion at the moment don't they. I would have hated to have to wear all those beautiful dresses ever day instead of my jeans, they'd be no good for gardening in!!!!
Hope you find Mr Mojo, if I find him skulking around here I'll send him back quick sharp.
    Hugs Lisax

love the shabby chic and it's a perfect card to hearken back to the 1950's! that stitch boarder is a brilliant touch..and the choice of pink is just perfect! not to mention that quote by Miss Chanel fits it so well!

    Fabulous! :D

  10. Hi Emma,
I saw this one on QVC and I just knew it was yours! I love it!! I was too late to order the pad, but maybe next time.

Sad to say I returned my Tim Holtz book. There just wasn't enough tutorials in it for a beginner. I will probably learn more watching him on You Tube.
    xx
