Games and Playtime

Hi everyone!

Hasn't the weather been absolutely glorious today? This is just about hot enough for me...I'm not a huge fan of boiling hot summers, but always love Spring days, when the sun shines, it's just warm and there's a gentle breeze...perfect!!

So, I hope you all had a lovely day and thank you to everyone who left such kind words for my Mum on my previous post. My blogging buddies really are the best... :) She's not been very well today but all your messages are making her smile and she says...thank you!!

As promised, here's another card from the set that I made for Making Cards Magazine featuring the Graphic 45, An ABC Primer collection ~ I hope you like it!
There is quite a lot of detail on this card but when I first looked at the papers and was deciding what to do with them, I thought it would work really well to have the pocket on the front, with all the little bits of ephemera popping out of it and for this particular project...the finished card that I had envisaged in my head was exactly the card that you can see here and that doesn't happen very often!!! LOL.

Okey dokey, time for me to put the dinner in the oven and pop on my domestic goddess head!!!

I'll see you all tomorrow with the final card from this set and also be round to visit all your blogs, later this evening!!

Bye for now and take care!!
Love Emma xxx

  1. I love the pocket idea, it's not something I've tried to do but think I should. Love those stripy roses, the whole effect is vintage and classic with a modern twist I reckon. Hope mum feels better soon. Zo xx

The pocket here is a great idea and so effective. And the roses you make are just perfect.
