Happiness, Forever

So, another day has whizzed by and isn't it chilly out there!?! I hear the weather men are predicting a white Christmas, there again they say that nearly every year and then I'm eating Christmas dinner with the sun shining through the window, like a summer's day. But if the icy chill in the air continues like this, I think they might be right!

It's been busy, busy, busy today so, it's a quick share from me and another couple of my Clarity samples that I made for the shows at the weekend. Hope you like them...
This card uses the Clarice Cliff inspired sunbeam, that I used on a previous card for the Clarity Stamps Pick Of The Week, earlier in the year. When this particular stamp set arrived, I just thought this technique would look so good against the silhouettes of the image and the vine.

The second of today's cards is using one of the corner stamps and just building up a pattern with it to create this gorgeous background effect. I also thought that the red, black and cream colourway would work really well on this card. The "forever" stamp, that I mounted onto a Spellbinder die cut comes from a previous set of Clarity stamps and can be bought here.

Before I go, just wanted to let you know that there is a new Sarah Hurley Challenge started HERE. This fortnight's challenge is all about
CHRISTMAS
and is sponsored by Letraset. The winner will receive a set of Spring Promarkers, which will be perfect for all that colouring in the new year!!
Unfortunately due to a massive amount of work, I was unable to take part in the challenge but the rest of the DT have made some wonderful samples over on the blog to inspire you.

See you tomorrow with some more samples from Clarity!
Bye for now.
Love Emma xxx

  1. We have 4 inches of snow here - 3 weeks too early!

Another two gorgeous makes - I saw the sunbeam one on the TV. That's one of Emma's I squealed. I get some strange looks from the dog!

  2. I love that sunburst effect (although I do not like Clarice Cliff), and I can think of another Clarity stamp, it would work well for.

  3. Hi Emma, two beautiful cards (what else?!!) Love how you've used the stamps.

I know just what you mean about Christmas dinner! Our table is by the French windows looking out onto the garden and I always dream of looking out onto a snow filled garden and perhaps a little robin, but instead we have to close the blinds as the sun is burning our faces, lol!!
