Beside the Seaside...

Well, it's Wednesday already and every week, I think it seems as if it flies by just that little bit quicker and this week is certainly no exception. Where's it gone?

But today, as promised, I thought you might all like to see the next set of cards that I made for the Clarity Stamp shows and here they are. A couple of cards featuring the Harbour Stamp Set.
It's funny how when you first see the stamps, you instantly have a thought pop into your head and as soon as I saw this set, it reminded me of the St Ives Artists. This movement of painters included such great artists as Alfred Wallis, Peter Lanyon and so many more and I immediately knew that I wanted to create that feel to my card and I hope I did them proud!

Well, I'd better get back to the drawing board...I'm off to the Stitch and Craft Show at Olympia tomorrow but before then, I have a work desk full of unfinished projects and the crafting fairies seem as if they've gone on strike!!
Hope you all have a fabulous day and I really hope you like my little creations as much as I love making them!
Love Emma

  1. wow...I can't remember you doing too many nautical themed cards but these are very cute! :) I love the bright colours of the houses in both cards and the flags in the second card!
and with the cheeky seagull watching over it all, you can almost smell the salty sea air! :)

    they're brilliant...well done! :D
