The Black Swan

I can't believe how the day's are flying by...it doesn't seem a minute since I was typing yesterday's post! Obviously, time flies when you're being creative...

And today, I've been very industrious because I've been lucky enough to be asked by Kuretake to do some creative work for them and yesterday, I received the first of my stash of products. And I am absolutely amazed by the quality of these Art and Graphic pens that I'm working with. They are wonderful and I can highly recommend them for anyone who works with stamps and likes the effect of watercolour or using the pens to stamp directly to paper. They are FABULOUS!

So, before I go return to my pens and paper...I promised you all another share from my Clarity samples and here they are...

I fell in love with this image as soon as my little box of goodies came through the door and I wanted to show the versatility of this stamp. On my first sample, I created a river bank with Distress Inks and then used a masking technique to create the effect of the two swans swimming together, side by side, in the river.

And for my second sample, I chose to have a lil bit of fun and create...a pub sign. I used Tim Holtz's die cuts and embossing folders to build up my matts and layers. Then for something slightly different, I coloured the swan, black!! So, welcome to The Black Swan...

I really hope that you love these samples as much as I loved working on them and thank you to everyone for all your lovely comments on yesterday's card. I know that sometimes I might sound as if I repeat myself, but all your comments really do mean the world to me...without you, this blog wouldn't exist! So, hugs and a big thank you to each and every one of my lovely friends and followers...I love you all!!

See you tomorrow
Love Emma

but I especially love the pub sign card! such a unique idea and the Black Swan Pub would be a great name! ;)
