Sunday 25 July 2010

Shh, don't tell anyone but Christmas is coming....

Today, it's a lazy Sunday...but in between reading the newspapers and indulging in my guilty pleasures of frothy cafe lattes and gooey chocolate brownies, I'm also trying to tidy up the craft room (...again!!) and plan for the week ahead.

But before I do anything else, these are the final two Gorjuss projects that I worked on for QVC...a card which showcases that wonderful trademark stripey paper and a small gift box, which I made by hand and shows off the fabulous twisted pyramid decoupage. And yes, don't just think these images and toppers are for cards...they look fabulous on all your crafty projects, from scrapbooking to items around the home.
So, that's all the cards from the QVC event...and now....I've got to start thinking about snowmen and sleighbells because IT'S CHRISTMAS ~ IN JULY!! Yes, I'm starting my Christmas cards and below is a sneaky peek of the new Gorjuss Winter Decoupage range from Crafthouse Press. I am so excited and can't wait to start work on these!
But it won't all be about Christmas, not yet anyway...I've got some great cards to share with you all next week and lots of new goodies on their way to use, including the new AquaMarkers from Letraset. Fun, fun, fun....

And one more thing before I go...if you love a bargain ~ go and check out Papercraft Clearance, a great website full of crafty bargains. You won't be disappointed!

Anyway, I've got a coffee waiting for me and can smell the brownies cooking...hope you're all having a fab Sunday and until next time....happy crafting!

  3. I can NEVER get enough of the Gorjuss! :) and you really did so well on these showcase cards for the QVC event! LOVELY!

And as much as the thought of Xmas in JULY makes me cringe a bit, seeing those Gorjuss sneak peeks kind of gets me looking forward to it just a BIT, I have to admit! ;p

  4. All this talk of Christmas is torturous, and as you probably know, it's my favourite holiday! And I just love seeing all your xmas-themed cards, especially from the Gorjuss selection!

I know you posted this on Sunday... but do you still have brownies cooking, because I can smell them from all the way over here? Gooey, to-die-for brownies! ;p
